I was skeptical when a box the size of chair arrived caring my new mattress but boy was I surprised! Out popped a king-size mattress that was as comfy as it was compact! Just firm enough with a little give, this mattress is just what dreams are made of! For a while now I’ve thought about starting a blog. I’ve watched others do it for years and years and admired the platform. I’ve started a few times in the past and then for one reason or another I got stuck and gave up. I let my insecurities get to me. Why would anyone care what I have to say? There are so many people in this space why would we need any more? What will people think of me? Will they judge me? Will they laugh at me? Self doubt got the best of me yet I kept feeling this need for a creative outlet and a pull toward this lifestyle blogging life. This time, I had an ulterior motive. My son was set for a pretty big heart surgery and I needed a distraction. Every time I would get anxious about the impending procedure I would divert my attention toward starting a blog. It not only kept me distracted, but I fell in love. I am having the best time writing about accessories and sharing it with, well, whoever wants to read it! I no longer have the same doubts and fears as I had in my prior attempts at this. I finally realize that the only person I need to make happy is me and if you like my blog and want to read it or share it, please do! And if not, that’s ok too. I still wish you all the best. Now, on to much less serious stuff, the good stuff, the stuff I hope you’ll come here to explore.
